nDreams has announced the appointment of Matt Willifer as a non-executive director to help with the formation of the company's Brandplay division.

Willifer, the head of planning at independent advertising and communications agency M&C Saatchi, will help advise on the formation and expansion of the new division that will focus exclusively "on creating innovative bespoke interactive entertainment for brands."

nDreams, formed in 2006 by former SCi/Eidos creative director Patrick O'Luanaigh, also announced that it has signed a deal with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe for an undisclosed project.

"We're really excited about the future and the direction that we're heading in," said CEO Patrick O'Luanaigh.

"The appointment of Matt Willifer, who has over ten years of experience at the highest levels of the advertising industry, will greatly assist us in the development of our new division.

We are thrilled to be working with SCEE and look forward to developing a strong relationship with them. We continue to grow a strong creative team and believe we are uniquely placed to deliver innovative gaming solutions to brands, advertisers and publishers looking for something different."

nDreams recently moved into a newly refurbished office, increasing the size of its internal team and necessitating the addition of full-time and freelance staff. Job vacancies are now listed on the company's website.
