NCsoft Holds Secret Meetings
City of Villains and Auto Assault to be demonstrated at Leipzig Games Convention
Friday 12 August 2005/... NCsoftTM Europe has today confirmed its presence at the Leipzig Games Convention, taking place August 17th - 20th.
Exhibiting alongside its German distributor, Flashpoint, NCsoft will treat press to private demonstrations of their upcoming titles City of VillainsTM and Auto Assault in Flashpoint's meeting rooms at the Games Convention Business Centre. Press who attend will also be able to get up-to-date news and information on the titles.
Dirk Metzger, marketing director, NCsoft Europe says: "The Leipzig Games Convention is a key date in the NCsoft calendar and is the ideal setting for us to present City of Villains and Auto Assault. Germany is an extremely important PC gaming market and we have already had a huge amount of success there, particularly with Guild Wars®. Not only have consumers shown their support by taking Guild Wars to the top of the charts but the press have also been extremely positive about all of our titles to date."
Metzger continues: "NCsoft Europe was launched just under a year ago so we have taken the decision to dip our toes in the water, so to speak, with a low-key presence at the Games Convention this year. Our intention is to expand our presence in 2006 to reach out to the game-playing public."
