NCsoft Europe Expands Lineage II Service in Europe
European Community Continues to Grow With Each New Lineage II Update
Friday 15th September/... NCsoft® Europe announced today that a new Lineage® II server world is live and now doubles the size of the rapidly increasing Lineage II community in Europe. The new Franz server, located in Frankfurt, Germany, is the second world designated for European players and coincides with the recent launch of the latest free update to Lineage II, Chronicle 5: Oath of Blood. Lineage II is the premier MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) game for PvP (Player vs. Player) enthusiasts, and regularly receives enormous free updates that dramatically increase the size of the virtual world.
Teon , the first server dedicated for European players, was recently moved to Frankfurt from the U.S as part of a larger overall plan to host Lineage II worlds in mainland Europe. By hosting servers in Europe, local players experience increased game performance, a better chance of building clans with same language players and more convenient timings of in-game community events, all of which are core elements to the Lineage II experience.
Chronicle 5 Oath of Blood has been designed to make game play at every level a more rewarding experience, without sacrificing the challenge that Lineage II is known for. This latest free expansion includes new hunting grounds, castles, clan halls and monsters, along with system-level changes long requested by the community. New players to the Franz world start from scratch, as they join the rapidly increasing number of other players, both novice and veteran, in the race to level up and seize control of clan halls and mighty castles.
