Mobile games publisher and developer Namco Networks has announced the signing of a new strategic partnership with Japan's G-Mode, to bring a vast catalogue of mobile games to the North American market.
Takeshi Miyaji, president and CEO of G-Mode, commented: "With Namco Networks being a major mobile content provider in North America, offering such games as PAC-MAN and Dig Dug, this pairing should prove to be impressive in terms of technology, development and market expansion."
Under the terms of the agreement, Namco Networks will publish various games from G-Mode's extensive catalogue, including RPG, puzzle and arcade titles, strengthening Namco's mobile casual games offerings and extending its presence in the US mobile market.
No specific game titles scheduled for release as a result of the new partnership have been revealed to date, although further announcements are expected shortly.
"Partnering with G-Mode expands our already large catalogue of entertaining games, meeting the ever-increasing consumer demand for casual content," added Kenji Hisatsune, president and CEO of Namco Networks.
"G-Modeâs games have been hugely successful in Japan, and we believe this popularity will continue in North America."
