Nag Studios raises $1m in pre-seed funding

Stockholm-based company to grow its team as it works to build a "digital super bowl"

Nag Studios has announced it has raised $1 million in pre-seed funding.

The funding round was led by LVP, with LVP partner Are Mack Growen joining the Nag Studios board, and with additional participation by Antler.

Nag Studios is working to build competitive esports games and platforms, and will use the funding to hire more developers to its team.

The Stockholm-based company was founded by DICE and Resolution Games veteran Peter Stahl and Tobii, Survivors Esports, and Co-Op.gg veteran Johan Skott.

"This opportunity, to merge 40-plus years of AAA game-making experience with a deep expertise and network of competitive gaming professionals, is incredibly unique and strong," Stahl said.

"We aim to build competitive games with a novel format, like a digital super bowl that is as exciting to watch as it is to play."
