N-Philes' Win a Wii Comic Contest Takes a Turn for the Awesome

More prizes announced for the top three winners

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Gainesville, FL - Oct. 30, 2006 - N-Philes ( http://www.n-philes.com) has announced more prizes for its successful Win a Wii Comic Contest! By teaming up with Activision, Atari, and Ubisoft, who are all graciously donating their Wii wares, N-Philes will award the grand prize winner a Wii console along with copies of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Dragon Ball Z Budokai: Tenkaichi 2, and Red Steel, all hotly anticipated launch titles for the Wii. Second and third place contest winners will each receive a copy of either Red Steel or Dragon Ball Z Budokai: Tenkaichi 2.

N-Philes' Win a Wii Comic Contest, which runs until November 18, asks entrants to create a comic strip based on N-Philes itself, the Nintendo universe, or the Wii. "The contest has been a huge success so far," says N-Philes Director Desiré Garcia after receiving over 30 entries in less than a week, "we wanted to give away more prizes so that more people could win." Tying in games that revolve around comics and anime, like Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Dragon Ball Z, is fitting, and a wonderful way for the winners to celebrate their talent. Red Steel's stylized take on Japanese culture is also a well-suited take on that theme.

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance is an all-new action/RPG where players create their Marvel dream team from the largest roster of Super Heroes ever in an epic quest that will determine the fate of Earth and the Marvel universe. Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 combines lightning-fast fighting, light RPG and action gameplay elements to give players the power to engage in titanic battles with a staggering roster of over 100 DBZ heroes and villains. Red Steel puts players directly into the action-packed first-person experience. By learning the ancient art of Japanese fighting with your katana and the focused precision of modern firearms, you will progress and adapt yourself to this foreign environment, where skills alone may not guarantee you victory. All three titles take advantage of Wii's unique motion controls and are to be rated T for teen by the ESRB.

Visitors can vote on the submitted entries until November 11, while N-Philes community members have until the November 15 to have their say. Of the ten highest-rated comics, the staff will choose the three winners based on originality and humor. The winner is to be announced on November 18, a day before the Wii launch. Entrants must be registered with the N-Philes community. This can be done for free at http://www.n-philes.com/forums.
