myGamersVideos.com
New portal for gamers to post videos, gaining early support from Frogster and NCSoft.
Berlin, Germany (05/08/08) – www.onlinewelten.com, one of the largest young-entertainment online-communities, announces today the start of its video-portal myGamersVideos.
All fans of virtual worlds, gamers or machinima fans, all the videogame inspired and interested people can now upload their favourite video at www.myGamersVideos.com. With just a few steps they can post it on the internet and present it to the community. Files up to 500 MB in size can be uploaded by the user.
Personal Groups can be created by those who are passionate about a specific topic, like videos, trailers or in-Game scenes of a certain game. Simply create a group and invite your friends in order to share your videos with them.
The video-portal is the logical extension of the very successful in-Game recording tool myGamersCam ( www.myGamersCam.com). Its next software update will even allow enthusiasts to upload files directly onto the video-portal. Until then a comfortable Batch-Uploader is available.
As soon as the community goes online, outstanding companies of the gaming-industry will offer their own channels in which they will regularly publish new content.
While Frogster Interactive Pictures offers areas for videos of Spellborn and Bounty Bay Online, MMO-Publisher NCsoft is even starting with four channels such as AION, City of Heroes, Tabula Rasa and Guild Wars. The German community coordinator Jörg Koonen (NCsoft) already had the chance for a sneak peek into the video-portal's beta. He is sure that "the platform will be a great success due to the easy and clear layout and its good functionality."
All clans, guilds and other communities are welcome to create their own groups and to upload lots of videos. Websites can also apply for personal channels in which they can determine the content and set their own rules for the acceptance of users. With a specially designed plug-in it is even possible to embed Videos from myGamersVideos in WBB and VBulletin forums.
All information about the new video-community can be found at www.myGamersVideos.com.
