MTVN'S ENTERTAINMENT GROUP PROMOTES JON SLUSSER TO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, SPIKE DIGITAL AND VIDEO GAMES

Adds Soon-To-Be Integrated iFILM/spiketv.com And Xfire To Responsibilities At GameTrailers

NEW YORK, June 21, 2007 -- MTV Networks' Entertainment Group has promoted Jon Slusser to senior vice president, Spike digital and video games. The promotion was announced by Erik Flannigan, executive vice president, digital media, to whom Slusser will report. He is based in Santa Monica, CA. Slusser was formerly vice president, MTVN and CEO, GameTrailers.

In his new role, Slusser will be responsible for management of the coming merger of the male-oriented, online video site, iFILM with Spike TV as Spike.com, bringing Spike's broadband and television assets to further strengthen the Entertainment Group's digital reach to the coveted male 18-34 demo. In addition, Slusser will take a lead role in the strategic direction of the company in the video game space which will include oversight of the popular PC-gaming application Xfire as well as continuing to run the video game site, GameTrailers.com.

"Jon came to us when MTV Networks acquired GameTrailers, already a powerhouse in delivering deep video content for gamers and creating original programming," said Flannigan. "Now we are able to leverage Jon's expertise in the Entertainment Group's wider, multi-platform digital world. He'll play a key role in creating the Web's premiere destinations for men."

Slusser and his partners launched GameTrailers (GT) in 2003, a broadband video site dedicated to video game entertainment and information. As CEO, he exercised strategic direction and day-to-day oversight of the company, joining MTV Networks as vice president upon its acquisition of GT in 2005. In 1997, Slusser had co-founded Hornet, Inc. a full-service commercial production and design company specializing in live-action film, motion graphics and computer animation and, before that, held several positions in public relations, finance and special business projects with the NBA.

Slusser is a graduate of the University of Southern California.
