More Xbox 360 Arcade pictures leaked
A technology web site has released images purporting to show the rumoured Xbox 360 Arcade bundle
A technology web site has released images purporting to show the contents of the rumoured Xbox 360 Arcade bundle.
Ars Technica has an image showing the contents of the new bundle, which appear to be a white wireless controller, a composite A/V cable, and a memory card to go along with the white Xbox 360 hardware.
A logo on the box indicates that five Xbox Live Arcade games are included, although only Pac-Man and UNO are clearly shown. Rumours indicate that the remaining games are Feeding Frenzy, Luxor 2, and Boom-Boom Rocket. Since the console lacks a hard drive, these games are apparently included on the memory card.
Microsoft still has not officially announced the Xbox 360 Arcade bundle, saying only: "As is our standard policy, we do not comment on rumors or speculation."
Rumours of the new bundle have been making the rounds as far back as August, but it wasn't until early October that the bundle first surfaced on retailer sites such as Amazon and Toys R Us. These retailers gave a release date as the last week of October.
Sources expect the Arcade bundle to retail for of USD 279.99, the current price for the Xbox 360 Core system which will likely be discontinued when the new bundle arrives.
