More talk of PSP 2 emerges
Redesigned handheld said to feature touchscreen technology
More talk of a true successor to the PSP has emerged in the US, this time from games site IGN.
The chatter comes after publishing sources told our sister site Eurogamer.net last December that a true successor to the PSP would be released after 2010, following an update to the current PSP model.
According to the latest rumour, the PSP 2 will feature a widescreen display and touch sensitive technology.
Sony has updated the original PSP since release in 2005 with the Slim & Lite and PSP 3000 models. The console currently sells as a bundle for around GBP 149.99 in the UK.
