More publishers sign up for AdWRAP
Greystripe secures deal with six companies
Mobile games distributor Greystripe has announced that six more publishers have signed up to join its AdWRAP advertising network.
AdWRAP offers free games to consumers through its catalogue program and Internet portal, GameJump.com, on the understanding that the titles feature adverts. So far the service has racked up more than 2 million game downloads.
Now publishers Kiloo, Mobility Zone, JavArt, LunaGames, Soul Biz Entertainment and Cheeky have all signed deals that will allow Greystripe to distribute their games through GameJump, casual gaming site ProGamesNetwork.com and social networking service MyGamma.com.
Kiloo will offer 27 games, including the Hugo series, while Mobility Zone's deal covers 28 titles - including Tomb Raider Slots, Supermoto Extreme and 2006 World Soccer.
From JavArt there's Squeegeex, Crazy 4 Monkey and Pinocchio, and LunarGames's titles include Jumbo's SuDoKu and Air Traffic Controller Classic. Soul Biz is offering 360 Speed and Flower Combo, and Cheeky is offering Blobbit Dash and Grid Runner.
The new deals mean the total number of AdWRAP games now tops 400, with 46 publishers signed up and supporting 1000 handsets.
"Our goal at Greystripe is to help our publisher partners increase distribution of their mobile games," said Greystripe CEO Michael Chang.
"Through AdWRAP Catalog partnerships with casual gaming sites and mobile communities, Greystripe is able to provide the widest possible distribution on the Internet and the mobile web."
