Monster Hunter X Japanese #1 with 2m sold

New 3DS XL tops hardware chart

Despite a bunch of new entries on the Japanese software chart this week only one of them made it into the top five. Monster Hunter X on 3DS is still number one and has now sold over 2 million copies.

Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni was a new entry at 5, while Steins;Gate 0 entered at 6 and 7 with the Vita and PS4 version. Gravity Rush Remastered was in at 10, Rainbow Six Siege debuted at 11 and The Idolmaster: Must Songs Red Board / Blue Board at 12. Further down the top 20 The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC Evolution was new at 15 and Steins;Gate 0 on PS£ made it a hat trick with a new entry at 19.

In hardware the New 3DS XL saw sales rise on last week and maintained the top spot, followed by the Wii U at 2.
