Mobitween launches mobile UGC portal
Players create and share own games at ugenGames
Paris-based Flash developer and publisher Mobitween has launched ugenGames, a content-sharing and social networking portal for online and mobile gaming.
Mobitween is claiming that ugenGames (www.ugengames.com) is the world's first portal for user-generated online and mobile gaming content.
It allows players to choose from a wide range of game engines uploaded by developers, customise them with their own pictures and sounds and then upload them.
Once created, games can be shared by email, or embedded into social networking websites such as Facebook and blogs including Blogger.
All games created with ugenGames are natively compatible with mobile handsets equipped with FlashT Lite players. Mobitween promises that web-to-mobile and mobile-to-mobile game cusomisation and sharing will be available soon.
"Mobitween's goal is to be the world's leading Game 2.0 Company which bridges the gap between web and mobile game developers and players allowing them to create, customise, embed and share an endless library of games," said Mobitween's founder and CEO, Philippe Chassany.
"This will revolutionise the way in which people create and interact with games."
