MobileBeat 2010

Submissions invited from budding mobile companies for Top20 Startup Competition, with twenty showcase spots in San Francisco up for grabs.

San Francisco, Ca - June 2, 2010 - Silicon Valley's premier mobile industry gathering, MobileBeat 2010, will take over San Francisco July 12-13, bringing together 500 of the industry's top VCs, mobile execs, journalists and entrepreneurs. This year's MobileBeat 2010 Top20 Startup Competition will showcase 20 of the world's hottest startups, giving them an opportunity to introduce their business to leading influencers, executives and media. Previous winners include AdMob, Loopt and Touchnote.

To qualify, a startup must fit into one of two categories: mobile applications or mobile infrastructure/ services and nominate themselves here. Once nominated anyone can go online and vote for their two favorite startups. The two most popular nominees automatically earn a spot in the finalist circle and are given tickets to MobileBeat. MobileBeat advisory board members then choose the remaining 18 spots. Nominations are open until June 7th 2010. Special consideration will be given to companies that plan to publically launch their service at the MobileBeat event on July 12th and 13th.
