Mobile Media Company secures further funding
Three million Euro for global expansion.
The Mobile Media Company has secured three million Euro to expand its global operations; in particular increasing the scale of its business in North America, and offering the market the video streaming services of its latest acquisition, Rubberduck.
"Mobile Media is the leading global showcase developer and provider of personal broadcasting solutions," said CEO Karsten Hauge. "We have used innovative and brilliant technologies coupled with an unparalleled knowledge of the broadcast, content and gaming communities to take personal broadcasting to a new age."
One of Mobile Media's recent announcements was an agreement with the Hunan Movie and Television Channel (HTV1) to provide mobile participation in Chinese TV shows and services, with an audience of over 64 million people. It also recently announced the launch of real-time multiplayer games with Hutchison 3G in Italy.
"Furthermore we're committed to the future of the mobile as the 4th screen for information and entertainment," Hauge added to today's announcement. "Mobile devices will be as important as a source of information and entertainment as the television set currently is, and this second round of funding affirms our commitment to the future of mobile entertainment, and our evolution as The Personal Broadcaster."
