Muppets Arrive on Mobile Phone
Manic Muppet drum roll please A survey published on
PockerGamer.co.uk today revealed that mobile gamers have voted
for Animal - the Muppet drummer inspired by rock musicians of
the 1960s, including Keith Moon - as the UK's favourite Muppet,
with a third of all votes cast. The Great Gonzo and his shiny
trumpet came second with 21 per cent and Fozzie Bear came a
close third with 19 per cent of all votes cast. The survey was
commissioned by the Walt Disney Internet Group to mark the
launch of Muppets Dance Party - an original and entertaining
take on the classic dance game genre - aimed at all the family,
casual and frequent mobile phone gamer alike. Across 1,000
votes, the full vote breakdown was as follows: - Animal - 33
per cent - The Great Gonzo - 21 per cent - Fozzie Bear - 19 per
cent - Kermit the Frog - 15 per cent - Miss Piggy - 5 per cent
- Waldorf - 3 per cent - Statler - 1 per cent "Animal has
