Mobile Developer Conference - Seattle, July 13-14
Early registration discount ends tomorrow
The Mobile Game Conference takes place in Seattle, Washington this week, organisers The Game Initiative offering a gentle reminder that the US$ 200 discount for early registration ends tomorrow, just ahead of the two-day event.
Focusing on three core themes of Design, Construction and Potential, attendees will be able to partake in a full programme of presentations, lectures, roundtable, panel and workshop events, led by some of the key figures in mobile game development.
Conference keynotes will be provided by Microsoft Casual Games Group studio manager, Chris Early, Square Enix' president and COO, Daishiro Okada, Digital Chocolate's Trip Hawkins and Creative Artists Agency's new media research specialist, Justin Hall.
Central to the event is the hugely anticipated LivePitch OnStage event, giving developers a few minutes to convince a panel of judges to finance or publish their project - all before the entire assembled audience of industry professionals.
Additional session topics include designing for mobile multiplayer, using the camera and other phone tools, carriers and the mobile games universe, the business potential of mobile games and the rapid evolution of the mobile game publisher.
Mobile Game Conference will take place at the Meydenbauer Centre in Bellevue, Washington and a full programme of events, together with registration information, can be found by visiting www.mobilegameconference.com.
