Mike Breslin appointment

Joins top brass at MumboJumbo.

DALLAS (March 3, 2010) – Gaming industry veteran Mike Breslin has joined the executive management team of MumboJumbo, a leading developer and publisher of premium casual games. Breslin, who has held senior management positions at Oberon Media/I-Play, Mattel, Disney Interactive, and Ion Storm, joins the makers of LUXOR, 7 Wonders and Samantha Swift as their General Manager – Digital Business & Marketing. He joined the team effective March 1, 2010 and brings with him more than a decade of industry experience.

“We’re very excited to welcome Mike to the MumboJumbo family,” said Mark Cottam, CEO of MumboJumbo. “He’s going to be spearheading our marketing and online efforts, as well as working with product development to create new brands, and we’re excited to see where he takes the MumboJumbo franchises.”

Breslin comes to MumboJumbo from Oberon Media/I-Play, where he oversaw global marketing and communications. Key product franchises that Breslin shepherded during his tenure as a vice president at the multiplatform casual games company include the James Patterson Women’s Murder Club series, Dream Day Wedding series, Fast & Furious series, Jewel Quest series, Deal Or No Deal series and the Bubble Town series for mobile and iPhone, 24: The Mobile Game and 24: Jack’s Back.

Breslin’s list of partners that he has worked with during the last decade reads like an A-list of brand champions: Universal, Fox, Coca-Cola, McDonalds, Burger King, Red Bull, and many others. MumboJumbo’s strong catalog of premium casual games, international distribution, publishing success and growth potential was a natural fit for Breslin’s next career move.

"I am honored and excited to join such an experienced, accomplished and passionate team," said Mike Breslin, General Manager at MumboJumbo. "For more than five years, MumboJumbo has been synonymous with developing and publishing the top Premium Casual Games and building some of the most lucrative retail franchises in the history of Casual games.”

Breslin began his career at Dallas-based The Richards Group after earning his degree in advertising and business administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
