Microsoft's Takashi Sensui now GM of Xbox division

Heads up Japan's new Interactive Entertainment Business group

Microsoft Japan has announced that Takashi Sensui will head up its new Interactive Entertainment Business as general manager. The news was announced at a press conference presenting Microsoft Japan's plans for the fiscal year.

The report on Andriasang also revealed than in a recent interview Sensui had admitted he was disappointed in Kinect's Japanese performance, and that he hoped new IPs for core gamers would improve sales.

Previously Sensui had lead the Home & Entertainment group, which covered Windows software as well as the Xbox 360.
