DreamWorks executive hired to lead the push against Apple's successful high street presence
Microsoft has announced plans to open its own chain of stores aimed at taking on Apple's successful retail franchise.
The software giant has taken on the former head of worldwide product distribution for DreamWorks Animation, David Porter, to run the new operation, according to Reuters.
No further information was given as to when and where the stores would open, or what products the stores would sell.
