Microsoft confirms Xbox 360 price cut for Australia
Arcade model now cheaper than the Wii in the region
Microsoft has cut the price of Xbox 360 hardware in Australia.
The 360 Arcade model will now retail for AUD 349 (GBP 169), the Premium console with 20GB hard-drive will sell for AUD 499 (GBP 240) and the high-end Elite SKU will cost AUD 649 (GBP 313).
The move makes the Xbox 360 the cheapest of the three home consoles, with Nintendo's Wii priced at AUD 399 (GBP 192) and Sony's PlayStation 3 at AUD 699 (GBP 337).
