Microsoft confirms 250GB Xbox and Kinect pack for £300

Kinect's release date and launch titles in Japan also revealed

A bundle of the 250GB Xbox 360 S and the new Kinect motion controller will arrive before Christmas, Microsoft has revealed.

Despite earlier claims to the contrary, the 4GB 360 and Kinect pack will not be the only bundle launching in early November.

The newly-announced package also includes Kinect Adventures, and will retail for £299.99. The bundle will be available from November 10 "for a limited period," with Microsoft claiming finite stock.

Also revealed today was the launch date for Kinect in Japan. The motion controller will be available from November 20.

Recommended retail prices have been pitched as ¥14,800 for the camera alone, ¥29,800 as a bundle with the 4GB 360 S and ¥39,800 for the 250GB package. All SKUs include Kinect adventures.

Launch titles are to include Kinect Sports, Sonic Free Riders, Dance Evolution and Crossboard 7, with the likes of Kinectimals and Kinect Joy Ride due within months.

However, Japan will also be treated to a new Dr Kawashima game from Namco at launch.

Minigame title 'Lead: New Brain Training Where You Answer With Your Body' was unveiled at a Tokyo press conference yesterday.
