Jonathan Sacks takes over as CEO, David Oppenheimer appointed Senior VP
Mobile entertainment publisher and distributor MFORMA has announced that Jonathan Sacks has been promoted to the role of president and chief executive officer.
Daniel Kranzler, who founded MFORMA in 2001 and held the position of CEO for the past three years, will continue to work for the company in the role of executive chairman.
"Jonathan's objective eye and insightful understanding of consumer media has already made quite a mark on MFORMA as he has built a senior team of highly talented and capable managers and marshaled our resources to new levels of efficiency," said Kranzler.
"It is gratifying to have witnessed the growth of MFORMA from small startup to industry leader and I look forward to its continued steady progress in the hands of Jonathan Sacks."
Sacks commented: "Daniel's vision and early recognition of what mobile entertainment is and would become is truly amazing. I am thrilled at the prospect of watching MFORMA's continued growth while it creates and delivers the next generation of mobile entertainment products to millions and millions of people all over the world."
In addition, David Oppenheimer has been appointed senior vice president and CFO for MFORMA. Oppenheimer recently left Digital Impact, where he had been chief financial officer since 1999, after facilitating the company's sale to Acxiom.
"MFORMA is the clear leader in mobile entertainment, working with the world's major wireless operators and delivering top quality and innovative mobile entertainment products all over the world," said Oppenheimer.
"I look forward to working with an extraordinarily talented management team in implementing the company's exciting growth strategies."
