Both titles have earned nominations in four categories, including Game of the Year
The 2016 Game Developers Conference is only a couple months away, and that means organizers can now reveal the nominees for the 16th annual Game Developer Choice Awards, which will take place on Wednesday, March 16th, 2016 at 6:30pm at the San Francisco Moscone Center. Robin Hunicke, co-founder of Funomena, will be hosting this year's awards ceremony.
Leading the pack at the 2016 Choice Awards are Metal Gear Solid V and The Witcher 3, which each earned nominations in four categories. Metal Gear Solid V earned nominations for Best Audio, Best Design, Best Technology and Game of the Year, while The Witcher 3 gained nominations for Best Visual Art, Best Narrative, Best Technology and Game of the Year.
The Choice Awards are open to any video game that was released and made publicly available during the 2015 calendar year.
