Metal Gear Solid V arrives on Japanese charts

And takes the top two spots with combined sales of 411,000

Just like your social media accounts the Japanese chart is all about Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain this week, with Hideo Kojima's last game for Konami taking first and second place in software sales. Together the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions sold 411,199 unit.

The only other new entry to hit the top ten was Infinite Stratos 2: Love and Purge at 9.

In hardware the PlayStation 4 saw the benefits of the Metal Gear Solid V release too, as sales more than doubled.
