2008 couldn’t get much better for gamers according to Gamestation, with news that Metal Gear Solid 4 will launch on Thursday 12 June, exclusive to Playstation 3.
There can’t be many gamers left on the planet who haven’t enjoyed the Metal Gear series of story-driven stealth and adventure games.
The latest incarnation of Hideo Kojima’s legendary tactical game, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, is the final chapter in the series, with seasoned hero Solid Snake drafted for one final mission. The now aged Snake has the challenging task of pursuing and assassinating his arch nemesis, Liquid Ocelot.
The game takes him from the Middle East to South America in a war-torn future world where huge conglomerates fight for supremacy using armies of hand-picked mercenaries.
If this didn’t sound hard enough, Snake needs all his legendary stealth abilities and a few additional tricks up his sleeve in order to find and outwit his old adversary.
Gamestation will have this essential gaming adventure on sale across all stores for £49.99*, or you can shop online at www.gamestation.co.uk
And if this final game in the series isn’t enough for you, then Gamestation’s exclusive range of Metal Gear ‘T’ shirts and wristwatches should keep the memory alive long after the mission is completed.
