MaXplosion

"Quirky, comical, retro-themed platformer" now on iOS.

LOS ANGELES, CA – January 6, 2011–Capcom® Mobile, a leading developer and publisher of video games, today released MaXplosion, a quirky, comical, retro-themed platformer for the iPhone and iPod touch on Apple’s App Store.

MaXplosion is a pick up and play platformer that challenges the player to escape the clutches of the nefarious M.A.D. (Ministry of All Destruction) organization. Fortunately, Max has the ability to explode at will which gives him the ability “bounce” off surfaces and reach far flung locations. Max’s predilection for pyrotechnics also comes in remarkably handy as an offensive weapon against the M.A.D. scientists and evil minions attempting to thwart his escape.

The game includes 20 explosive levels filled with interactive objects including Rotating Platforms, Water Jets, Lasers, Rideable Nukes, Missiles and more. The game supports Game Center out of the gate and features 44 achievements and high-score leaderboards for each of the 20 levels, as well as an overall high score leaderboard.

MaXplosion is available on the Apple App Store for a limited-time launch price of $.99.  For more information, visit the Capcom official press site at www. press.capcom.com or to download the game visit www.capcommobile.com/iphone.
