Co-founder of Maxis Jeff Braun has joined Jackass The Game and Sin City developer Red Mile Entertainment.

Co-founder of Maxis Jeff Braun has joined Jackass The Game and Sin City developer Red Mile Entertainment.

Braun joins the company as strategic advisor, and will be working alongside former president of EA Canada Glenn Wong, now president of Red Mile.

"Red Mile got my attention when it licensed Frank Millerâs Sin City," commented Braun. "The opportunity to work with a company that has the rights to such an influential Frank Miller property is very compelling."

"The next big challenge for Red Mile will be to turn this property into a triple-A game and make the transition to a top-tier publisher.

"I believe their development strategy, in addition to the management experience of Glenn Wong, are key steps toward achieving this goal," he added.

Braun has over 20 years of experience in the industry and is credited as the co-creator of the SimCity franchise.

"Jeff brings a deep understanding of video games that is unparalleled in the industry," stated Red Mile CEO Chester Aldridge.

"SimCity was the genesis of one of the best-selling games of all time and Jeffâs experience working with this and many other leading game franchises will be of great value to us."
