Mastertronic go legal
The Mastertronic Group Ltd have continued their policy of expansion and have appointed Nav Sunner as Group General Counsel. Nav is a qualified lawyer with many years of experience in the computer and video games industry. Nav joins from international law firm Pinsent Masons, where he was a Senior Associate, advising companies on legal and commercial issues within the interactive entertainment arena. Before that Nav was Head of Legal at games publisher Codemasters. He has a great passion for games and the games industry and is an experienced gamer.
Mastertronic Group MD Andy Payne commented, "We are actively and aggressively expanding our business into console, wireless and casual gaming arenas and working with a variety of IP holders worldwide. Consequently we needed to appoint a dedicated lawyer with games industry experience to maintain our market leading position. Nav was an obvious choice for us."
