Mastertronic compilations
Conflict Collection, Deus Ex Complete and Hitman Ultimate Contract all out now.
Mastertronic has today announced the release of three new compilations – Conflict Collection , Deus Ex Complete and Hitman Ultimate Contract , bringing together classic franchises in one exciting package whereby all games have been re-mastered to fit on one DVD for each collection!
Conflict Collection is a compilation of the first four Conflict titles bringing together four of the most enthralling games ever in one explosive package! Conflict has set the standard for squad-based tactical shooters for years with each individual instalment receiving excellent reviews and high scores, including 80% from PC Gamer for Desert Storm and the same score for Global Storm from PC Format. This unique collection brings together the first four titles in the series. Desert Storm and Desert Storm II take you far behind enemy lines in the first Gulf War, Conflict: Vietnam is a fight for survival against the deadly Viet Cong and Global Storm sees your Gulf War veterans re-deployed to fighter terror around the world. These four great games in one box will retail at £14.99.
Deus Ex Complete, which will retail at £9.99, contains both of the Deus Ex games - the original Deus Ex which received an outstanding score of 95% and Deus Ex Invisible War which received an equally impressive score of 92%, both reviewed in PC Gamer. Deus Ex is one of the most influential games of all time. It is a mix of RPG and FPS elements that has often been imitated, but never bettered, no game allowing the user a greater freedom to play their own way. Deus Ex Complete sees both games in the groundbreaking collection brought together, allowing the player to experience two of the greatest games ever in one stunning package. PC Gamer featured Deus Ex Invisible War as their Game Of The Month and complimented the game “At its best, Deus Ex Invisible War takes you closer to the idea of pure, unrestrained player expression than anything else. Most games state ‘This is what you must do.’ Invisible War asks ‘What do you want to do?’”
Hitman Ultimate Contract is the complete Hitman series with all four Hitman games in one place. Your time has come to enter the Hitman’s world. A world where the Hitman trusts no-one but himself, a player in a deadly game, a combatant on a battlefield most people don’t even know exists. The first instalment, Hitman: Codename 47 received an 8/10 review score from Eurogamer, and was closely followed by Hitman 2: Silent Assassin. Hitman Contracts was the third in the series and received an impressive 80% review score in PC Gamer. Finally, Hitman Blood Money completes the series and doesn’t disappoint, boasting an 85% review score in PC Gamer claiming “Dying has rarely been this much fun”. Hitman: Ultimate Contract is the ultimate collection of Hitman titles and will retail for £14.99.
James Cato, Mastertronic’s Sales Director, commented: “These compliations are a new concept for Mastertronic. We wanted to make available complete collections of the most popular computer gaming franchises and believe that our Conflict, Deus Ex and Hitman compilations will prove a hit with consumers and retailers alike”.
All three compilations were released on 26th June.
