Mary King's Riding School

Endoser, Mary King, picks up an Olympic bronze medal.

Braintree – September 1st, 2008 - Ghostlight Ltd publisher of title Mary King’s Riding School, out now on Nintendo DS, is proud to announce their endorser’s latest achievement. Mary King, along with Great Britain's eventing team secured an Olympic bronze medal after 3 days of eventing at the Beijing Olympics.

Mary King’s skill and excellence in the dressage and cross-country disciplines moved Britain from 12th position up into 3rd place, making her one of four British riders to qualify for the individual final, along with Tina Cook, William Fox-Pitt and Daisy Dick.

Keen equestrians can follow in Mary King’s footsteps and practice their riding with Mary King’s Riding School on the Nintendo DS™. The game, which launched August 29th in the UK, opens the stable doors on one of the most aspirational riding schools of the equestrian world. With personal tuition, Mary King players can learn to care for, train and compete with their very own horse. Taking part in international events across the globe, riders will need to master the three major equestrian disciplines; dressage, cross-country and show jumping.

Speaking with Mary King after her bronze medal glory, she commented “It was great to compete at my 5th Olympic games and to win another team medal is brilliant. I’m looking forward to some relaxation time now and hoping to improve on my virtual riding skills in Mary King’s Riding School on the DS”
