MapleStory Europe unleashes its big bangers
Fun and fireworks are set to fly in Nexon's hugely popular and free to play MMORPG MapleStory Europe.
Wednesday 14th November/... Guy Fawkes night may be wrapped up for another year, but there are plenty of big bangs still left to enjoy in NEXON's hugely popular and free to play MMORPG, MapleStory Europe. As part of its continuing series of special events based on major European cultural festivals, MapleStory Europe players are set to experience a fireworks festival like no other.
The two week event, which runs from November 15th to 29th, puts a truly MapleStory twist on England's famous Guy Fawkes celebrations. To take part in the completely free to participate event players must first join together with friends to form a party, before hunting down seven secret letters hidden across the special Guy Fawkes map. Once these have been collected, players must work together to defeat a special MapleStory Europe version of the infamous Guy Fawkes himself - only then can the party walk away with a multitude of festive firework spoils.
To help players get into the party mood, MapleStory Europe's cash shop is offering a special Guy Fawkes inspired mask that should ensure things go with a bang. Gunpowder fans can look out for a special accessory that sets off mini firework displays wherever your character goes, while those wishing to remember Guy Fawkes' legacy in a more patriotic fashion can wear the new England flag face paint with pride.
"Fireworks night is a fantastic time of year and now people can enjoy all the fun of Guy Fawkes for a few weeks more courtesy of MapleStory Europe," said Calvin Yoo, Director of International Business Development at NEXON Europe Ltd. "As with every special event in MapleStory Europe, we've worked hard to ensure that the unique spirit of Guy Fawkes night is truly captured for everybody to enjoy. Maplers will love it; just don't forget to bring your sparklers!"
