Majesco has announced that it has formed a new development studio to focus specifically on the casual market.

Majesco has announced that it has formed a new development studio to focus specifically on the casual market.

The LA-based team will be led by former Sega exec Bill Petro, taking on the role of vice president of internal development.

"We're excited about the opportunities that will result from this initiative and believe this move will allow us to build the same or better product as we do externally with similar or reduced costs," commented Jesse Sutton, CEO of Majesco.

"We also firmly believe that the creation and ownership of intellectual property increases long term shareholder value."
