Madden lead Carlos Guerrero dismissed from EA
Senior producer departs after only two months due to company policy violation
In May, Carlos Guerrero took on the role of senior producer for the Madden series with EA. Now, two months later, the role is open again after Guerrero's dismissal for violations of company policies.
Game Informer reports the official statement from EA, which does not offer details as to what these violations entailed.
"Due to behavior that is against EA policies, including our Global Code of Conduct & Respectful Workplace policy, Carlos Guerrero is no longer with EA. We don't have any further comments."
Guerrero took over the role of senior producer for Madden in May, filling the position vacated by Rex Dickson. Dickson departed EA after twelve years due to a mutual agreement among senior management to take the franchise in a new direction.
Prior to his work at EA, Guerrero worked at Blizzard as Overwatch's senior game producer, and has also worked on World of Warcraft.
Ron Harvey will serve as executive producer for Madden until the role is filled.
