Macera Technology makes an impression at HK Filmart 2007
Malaysia, 3rd April 2007 - A trade mission comprising 27 Malaysian companies from the Creative Multimedia sector and jointly led by the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC), National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS) & Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) has successfully secured deals worth RM 93 million (approximately USD 27 million) in Hong Kong.
MDeC Creative Multimedia Cluster Vice President, Kamil Othman and Hong Kong Trade Development Corporation (HKTDC) Director, Peter Phang witnessed the signing ceremony and confirmed eight memorandums of agreements (MoAs) were signed with global industry players during the visit by the 27-company delegation to the Hong Kong Filmart held from 20-23 March 2007. Macera Technology Sdn Bhd obtained 3 out of the 8 agreements that were signed.
Macera Technology Sdn Bhd finalised two agreements with China Digital Entertainment Alliance Ltd (HK) and Moffy Limited (HK) for distribution and marketing of Malaysian-made mobile contents through their networks in Asia.
In addition to the above, Macera Technology also secured a hat-trick contract with HK-based company - Kennyswork Ltd for a co-production of a mobile Java Game "Molly the Painter" which is due to be completed by June 2007.
