LudoMation
Ten per cent of proceeds to be donated to HIV/AIDS research.
Orlando, FL December 01, 2010 – Werd! Interactive CEO Randy Shepherd is issuing a call to arms for all gamers to literally and figuratively 'play it forward'. LUDOMATION is Werd! Interactive's first installment in a series of so-called medical breakthrough games imploring gamers to unite in one common cause; to advance research and find cures for a spectrum of maladies ranging from HIV to Breast Cancer. Shepherd says ten percent of proceeds from every game in the series will be donated to their respective charities.
LudoMation marks Werd Interactive's third altruistic venture aimed at raising money for HIV/AIDS research. In 2005 Werd Interactive released the popular puzzle game Spectrum Tiles Red Ribbon for World AIDS Day and donated one dollar of every unit sold to HIV/AIDS research clinics in the southeast United States. Total charitable proceeds exceeded $250,000. That following spring, the company also gave away a free version of its popular puzzle game for National HIV Testing Day to anyone who participated by getting tested.
As of late, several other wireless game developers have jumped on the charity bandwagon. says Shepherd.
