Live Games, a new format in gaming-based entertainment, use the quick hit appeal of casual gaming to involve players in an action-driven scripted adventure. Over the course of a defined period of time of 14 days, players equipped with cell phones, email address and the Web must solve a series of short, game-based tasks and challenges within a scripted plot that has the twists and turns of an action film.
"We are excited to introduce the format of Live Games through our launch of The Prague Files," said Troy Benton, founder of Live Games Network. "With the goal of giving people another way to experience and enjoy a developing story line, we have created an original series of game-based tasks and challenges to involve players in the plot. Live Games let people participate in the thrill of the game while engaging with other players to build alliances, solve clues and potentially win an exciting prize, whether they have 5 or 55 minutes to spare each day."
The Prague Files: Help Jack And Win A Trip To Prague For You And A Friend
The Prague Files is a game of international espionage in which players will assist fictional hero Jack Gregory in his quest to clear his father's name. As game play progresses, players will begin to witness clues buried in mass media and may hear about real world scenes that have been staged by the game director to further immerse players in the story. The game will unfold over the course of two weeks as participants piece together the story to reveal who has killed Jack Gregory's father and why. The winning player will solve the mystery and as a reward, receive a trip for two to Prague, Czech Republic.
