Lighthouse announces Barrow Hill
Haarlem, The Netherlands, June 27th, 2006. Leading publisher Lighthouse Interactive today announced that it has acquired the worlwide publishing rights (excluding North-America) to the acclaimed suspense adventure for the PC 'Barrow Hill', a title developed by UK based Shadow Tor Studios. The game is set for a pan-European release in October 2006.
Barrow Hill is a gripping horror thriller, set in the Cornish
landscape of England and told from a first person
perspective. The Cornwall based developers have succeeded in
transforming the local dark legends into a very immersive
gaming experience. From eerie woodlands to desolate farm
buildings, the game world of Barrow Hill is very much alive,
and keeps the players looking over their shoulder.
Erik Schreuder, Lighthouse CEO, said: "We're very excited to
add such a suspenseful adventure game to our growing line-up
of quality titles. With the game's strong plot and eerie
atmosphere, we certainly look forward to creeping out
European gamers in the months to come."
Shadow Tor Studios CEO Matt Clark added: "I am delighted that
Lighthouse will be publishing Barrow Hill across Europe. It
means many adventure game players will soon be exploring the
dark woods of the hill and uncovering the curse of the
ancient barrow."
