Lifeskool Seeks Gamers' Sickest Tricks

Coming This Fall "Show Us Your Sickest Trick" Machinima Contest Hosted By Machinima.com

Contest Will Let Gamers Strut Their Machinima Skills and Gaming Moves Before A Panel of Industry Elites Including Zack Snyder, Director of the Film 300, Rocker/Machinima Music Video Producer Tommy Lee and Chris Burke, Halo Filmmaker and Creator of "This Spartan Life"

Grand Prize Winner Will Receive Once-In-A-Lifetime Mentorship Opportunity in NYC with Machinima Master Chris Burke at Cutting-Edge Machinima Studio

NEW YORK, NY - October 3, 2007 - You got the skillz, but now it's time to prove it with LIFESKOOL TV's "Show Us Your Sickest Trick" machinima contest. Brought to you by LIFESKOOL TV, its signature On Demand series, Gamer Dojo and Gametrotting, and Machinima.com, this contest will seek video proof of raw pwn3ge (ownage) captured in your favorite games. Entries will be judged by both your fellow machinima devotes and a panel of experts including 300 director Zack Snyder, Tommy Lee, the rocker bringing machinima to music videos, famed Halo filmmaker Chris Burke, president of Machinima production company Bong + Dern and creator of Halo talk show, "This Spartan Life" and Jonathan Drubner, host of LIFESKOOL's video gaming series Gamer Dojo and Gametrotting.

Machinima is a new genre of filmmaking which uses games and game engines as its virtual backdrop. It has spawned thousands of user-generated movies and, most notably, was the centerpiece of the World of Warcraft-themed 10th season premiere of South Park. The question, of course, remains: Who will be the next big Machinimator to break through?

"LIFESKOOL's On Demand video gaming content consistently ranks among our top performers and our latest gaming series, Gamer Dojo and Gametrotting, are no exceptions," said Daniel Ronayne, executive vice president and general manager of LIFESKOOL. "We're thrilled to bring such an exciting competition to our viewers and the entire gaming community, and further our mission to inspire and inform the next generation of gamers."

In addition to its "Show Us Your Sickest Trick" machinima contest, LIFESKOOL will be premiering two new video gaming episodes this fall - a Gametrotting episode dedicated to machinima premiering October 18 and a Gamer Dojo episode on the much anticipated Halo 3 premiering November 15.
