Leipzig GC: Konami unveils line-up

Konami has announced that visitors to this year's Leipzig Games Convention will be the first to get hands-on play with Pro Evolution Soccer 2008.

Konami has announced that visitors to this year's Leipzig Games Convention will be the first to get hands-on play with Pro Evolution Soccer 2008.

The game, which is due out this autumn and will include a new 'Teamvision' AI system, will be playable "on PC, Xbox 360 and more", according to a statement.

Other titles on show will include Silent Hill Origins for PSP, and developer William Oertel will be at Leipzig to demo the game. In addition, Koji 'IGA' Igarashi will present Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles.

"We can promise visitors and gamers in Leipzig that Konami will play a major role in this year´s gaming year - delivering new games and additions to popular franchises, while producing exciting games for new systems and established formats," said Konami's Martin Schneider.

Konami will be in hall 4, booth B11 during the Leipzig Games Convention, which runs from August 23 - 26.
