Legion Arena
The Legion marches ahead.....
Slitherine Software are pleased to release the second batch of screenshots for Legion Arena, their online RTS/RPG. These screens show some of the progress that has been made in the last month, most notably the improved shadows. However much of the development effort has been focused on the gameplay and balancing such as the addition of 50 new skills and enhanced formations, which are harder to show in screenshots!
These screens show an army from the early Roman Republic taking on a Celtic horde. You can clearly see the Celtic cavalry sweeping through the Roman Princepes (Heavy Infantry) on the left flank, while the right flank at least initially held its own against the Celtic infantry.

Legion Arena is Slitherine's entry in the 2005 IGF. At the 2004 IGF Slitherine won the Innovation in Visual Arts award with Spartan and hopes to build on this success.
