Lava Showdown
Web game launched to plug LEGO Power Miners.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
February 9, 2010 (Dallas, TX) – Dallas-based Blockdot has released “Lava Showdown,” an exciting (and fiery!) game for LEGO® Systems, one of the world's leading manufacturers of toys for children.
The game, which was created to promote the LEGO Power Miners product line, was released exclusively to Blockdot’s gaming portal www.kewlbox.com — one of the Top 50 game portals on the Internet.
In Lava Showdown, the Power Miners are digging even deeper underground to reach the lava environment — and now they have new lava monsters to worry about! Your mission is to catch the lava monsters in cages, then navigate your way over a lava-filled trench — avoiding the ginormous lava monster throwing fireballs at you! (players who work really hard in the game will find special unlockable items, too)
