LANDING SOON: ALPHA WING 3D

Glu Announces 3D Mobile Gaming Debut with Multi-Platinum Space Shooter

San Mateo, Calif. - June 1, 2006 - Glu Mobile, a leading creator and global publisher of mobile entertainment, today announced plans to launch a 3D version of the award winning intergalactic space shooter, Alpha Wing. The innovative 3D version is the third installment of the multi-platinum series and Glu's debut creating 3D BREW® games. The game will be available via North American wireless carriers beginning in fall 2006.

"Alpha Wing was built specifically for the mobile platform.
Mobile is evolving rapidly, and innovation in handset and development technology has made it the right time to deliver a 3D game that combines solid gameplay and brings it to the next level with amazing 3D graphics," said Alex Galvagni, chief technology officer and senior vice president of product development, Glu Mobile. "QUALCOMM's 3D hardware-accelerated MSM chipset combined with BREW rivals other handheld gaming platforms and has enabled us to take advantage of the capabilities of the mobile platform and deliver a superior consumer experience."

The Alpha Wing franchise, which originated from Glu's UK studio in 2003, has been one of the company's most successful original franchises. It has been credited by IGN.com for being "high quality from start to finish," and by Wireless Gaming Review for combining "great gameplay with lush graphics and cool sounds."

"We're excited to see Glu enter the 3D space and their development team has used the very latest BREW and 3D technology to take a successful original IP game experience to the next level," said Mike Yuen, senior director of the Gaming Group, QUALCOMM Internet Services. "We look forward to seeing more high-quality 3D titles from Glu in the future."

In addition, Alpha Wing 2, the previous iteration of the franchise, is available now on all major carriers worldwide. For more information, please visit www.glu.com.
