Krome Studios Launches TY the Tasmanian Tiger 3: Night of the Quinkan web site
Exactly 69 years ago, on September 7 1936, the last recorded living specimen died in an Australian zoo. But, who says the Tasmanian tiger is really extinct?
Krome Studios is keeping the spirit of the largest carnivorous marsupial alive in the company's flagship series, TY the Tasmanian Tiger. In honor of this day, and in preparation of the upcoming release of the latest instalment in the two-million unit selling character action series, Krome Studios has just launched the "TY the Tasmanian Tiger 3: Night of the Quinkan" web site at www.nightofthequinkan.com.
The site offers fans an array of cool information including:
- News - TY and his mates will provide regular news updates of the game and their status.
- EnTYclopedia - helpful information on things found in the game including characters, locations, vehicles, etc.
- Fun Page - as the name implies, visitors can entertain themselves with the many options found on this page including coloring, testing their skills on mini-games, listening to the music/audio from the game, viewing cool videos, downloading wallpaper, to name a few.
- Links and Contact - this is where fans can send their favorite characters a message.
Fans of the uniquely Australian game series will once again have an opportunity to take on the adventures "down under" as TY and his Bush Rescue mates face off with a new and even more evil and powerful enemy known as the Quinkan. So get ready to bust out your rangs as TY the Tasmanian Tiger 3: Night of the Quinkan will be available for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube and GameBoy Advance this October. The game is currently under development at Krome Studios and will be co-published by Activision and Krome Studios.
