About Dynasty Warriors on PSP
After incredible success on the home consoles and an uninterrupted history of hugely popular releases, that now sees the Dynasty Warriors series reaching number 5 on PS2 and Xbox, the series takes its first steps into the world of portable gaming. Dynasty Warriors on PSP carries over everything that has made the series such a worldwide success whilst also taking into account the different requirements of the portable format. Brand new features have been specifically designed with the pick up and play nature of the PSP in mind.
The all new battlefield area system breaks down the game's expansive areas into smaller more manageable chunks which is ideal for portable play. Building on this new approach the developers have taken the opportunity to infuse a whole new level of strategy into the proceedings. With each smaller area playing a significant role in the larger battle it is up to the player to decide which areas to attack first and adjust their battle plan to suit the demands of each battlefield segment.
With the PSP enabling users to share their gaming experiences Dynasty Warriors contains features which will enable players to trade unlocked bonuses and encourage them to try to discover all of the numerous hidden officers within the game. Continuing the series' renowned historical accuracy Dynasty Warriors on PSP details the exploits of 42 different historical warriors giving the player the opportunity to experience battle from a number of vastly different perspectives in the story mode. These 42 different warriors can then be used in free mode where historical plotting takes a back seat to spectacular, adrenaline fuelled, battlefield mayhem.
Commenting on the release of Dynasty Warriors for PSP, David Hope, General Manager of KOEI Ltd said "We are delighted to be bringing everything that has made the Dynasty Warriors series such a success to the PSP, whilst also including a host of exciting new ideas that should make Dynasty Warriors a hit with its new portable audience."
