Kato Studios create hedonism for handsets

Ministry of Sound Ibiza mobile game announced

Madrid-based Kato Studios has announced the creation of a hedonistic Ibiza party game for mobile phones, recreating the sounds of summer with Balearic beats from the Ministry of Sound.

The Ministry of Sound Ibiza Game is a Sims style game created specifically for mobile phones. Players are charged with the task of becoming 'king of the island' by mingling with the right crowds and gaining access to the best parties on Ibiza.

Through a series of interactions, conversations and late night party-going, your chosen character - be it male, female, heterosexual or homosexual, must balance levels of charm, sex appeal and stamina by completing a series of objectives and ultimately ruling the island's many revellers.

Designed for casual gamers who just can't get the summer season out of their head, the Ibiza game features over thirty unique characters to interact with. Hit the bars, clubs, beach-huts and exclusive after-hours pool-side parties with some of the hottest house, dance and chill-out sounds of the Balearics, courtesy of The Ministry of Sound.

Available in all major European languages and distributed worldwide through THQ Mobile, the game offers mobile gamers a fresh taste of the sun, sea, sex and sounds of summer.

Dedicated to creating unique and innovative mobile content, Madrid-based Kato Studios combines a uniquely skilled young workforce with an ambition to limit its catalogue to high quality games that deliver a high level of creativity, storyline, playability, features and graphics. Working with Java, Brew and Doja, the company's product portfolio is designed to accommodate a broad range of mobile devices in multiple languages, and all Kato games are distributed worldwide through a series of strategic partnerships with mobile operators and publishers.
