Joystick Junkies throws open the doors for Spring 2005

Joystick Junkies are taking bookings for their Spring industry event schedule and are announcing the launch of a weekly consumer club night

With just a few weeks to go until 2005 Joystick Junkies is already in planning for a series of Spring events.

The following dates are being announced for publishers and brands wanting to tap into the increasingly popular Joystick Junkies parties:

UK Events

- Wednesday 2nd February

- Wednesday 2nd March

- Wednesday 6th April

Sponsorship of the industry events includes the full line-up of entertainments plus custom activities to create an ideal launch party. The parties are London's only real industry networking night and bring together a stylish crowd of opinion formers and media from across the entertainment industry including film, fashion, TV, music and of course video games.

These are not the only events on offer though, following the huge success of the official Game Stars Live party the company is also in talks to organise specific events around product launches and key events in the games industries calendar.

Joystick Junkies will also be kick starting the New Year with the launch of its concept club night, which will start in February. The weekly consumer event is expected to have a low-ticket price and will be supported by extensive promotion in and around London and through media partners.

"This weekly club night will bring together some of our best ideas from the Joystick Junkies industry events with FMCG sponsors and lifestyle media. They're an ideal vehicle to sample product with the consumer and get some mainstream exposure." Commented Chris Birch.
