Jolt brings Mystics on board
London - 9th November 2004 - Jolt Online Gaming, Europe's largest independent online gaming network, and Mystics.de, one of Europe's largest Massively Multiplayer Online Game specialists, are pleased to announce a partnership that will see Jolt take over hosting of Mystics.de's network of sites and forums.
Mystics.de is a German-based MMOG portal serving nearly two million pages per month, with up-to-date articles and hosted sites for games such as EverQuest II and Asheron's Call. The mutually beneficial deal is an important one for Jolt as it further strengthens Jolt's ties to the MMOG community.
"Jolt recognises that running a successful gaming network requires a lot of specialist knowledge and a great deal of enthusiasm," said Dominic Silk, Jolt's CEO, "We're glad to welcome the Mystics team under the Jolt umbrella because we believe they have exactly those qualities."
The deal will see Jolt transfer the content of Mystics.de onto its own expansive network of gaming sites, as well as integrate the busy Mystics.de forums into its own. Mystics.de will continue to be run as before and assisted by a dedicated team of volunteer staff, but will also be able to draw upon Jolt's own resources to bolster its content.
