John Galt Games Prepares for Launch of GoPets
SEOUL, Korea - March 16, 2005 - John Galt Games (www.johngaltgames.com) is working with Korean developer GoPets (www.gopetslive.com) to put the finishing touches on their GoPets bundled suite of mini games. GoPets, along with the JGG games, will enter open beta in April. The open beta phase for GoPets will last two months and offers a 50% discount on items and services.
GoPets is a pet-based social networking game, with fully-autonomous virtual pets that learn, play, grow, and breed. They have tastes, hobbies, personalities and unique genetic codes. GoPets can be dressed and groomed in every imaginable way and no two are the same. GoPets travel around from computer to computer on their own, creating a worldwide social network, helping users to meet interesting people from all over the world.
John Galt Games has partnered with GoPets to create a full docket of games to entertain GoPets users around the world. "We will have three games available for play on the GoPets platform beginning in April," said William Kelly, CFO of JGG. "We will continue to add additional games to the platform at an expected rate of one per month. GoPets users are the perfect target for a product line we call the GoPets Carnival, which is a series of casual games with a carnival theme."
Casual gamers makes up the largest consumer segment of the video game market with more than 96 million gamers worldwide. In addition to the release of their GoPets branded suite of products, John Galt Games is continuing development of their unique, casual MMP entitled "Happy Car," scheduled for a Q4 2005 release.
