John Daly's ProStroke Golf

And here are John Daly's thoughts on tomorrow's Ryder Cup.

30th September 2010 – Wellingborough, UK/… John Daly, the eccentric PGA veteran famous for his unorthodox “Grip It and Rip It” golfing style and colourful golfing attire, has been offering his opinion on how tomorrow’s Ryder Cup will play out.

Taking place at the Celtic Manor Resort between 1-3 October, this year’s competition pitching Team Europe against current holders Team USA is one of the most eagerly-anticipated competitions in the golfing calendar. Whilst preparing for the launch of his first videogame, John Daly has been taking time out to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the rival teams to provide his expert opinion on the proceedings.

John Daly, said:

“The overall standard of golf has improved so much over the years and it looks like the US probably has one of the best putting teams for a long time. However, there’s no room for complacency as the Americans do need to be wary of the Europeans, since they are proving to be equally as strong.

“Tiger Woods might have had a torrid year, but he’s still the world’s number one. The caliber of the players on both teams makes predicting an overall winner a tough call. I think that this will go down to the wire and could even be decided on the last putt.”

John Daly’s ProStroke Golf from O-Games tees off on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC from 15th October 2010. The PlayStation 3 version of the game is the only golf game to have been developed for the PlayStation Move motion controller from the ground up, offering an unrivalled video game golf experience.

Starring John Daly, the celebrated PGA veteran, ProStroke Golf features the return of the unique and critically acclaimed ProStroke TM control – presenting a first-person view of the ball and club head, giving you the closest thing to playing real golf at home on your console or PC.
